Connector Works was formed in Bournemouth, England during 2010 following a successful venture with Mobile Buro and Canon in France with the launch of an eCopy Sharescan V4 connector.
After completion of this project Connector Works began work on the first Version 5 connector for Google Docs and a joint venture with Nuance in order to understand the possibilites of the new Version 5 platform.
Now Connector Works is a full member of the Nuance eCopy Sharescan eCopy Connector Alliance Program (eCap) and is an official developer for the platform. Independantly providing consultation, development services and standalone connectors for sale worldwide and in multiple languages we are now the UK's only independant, dedicated Connector solutions company.
We are also firmly partnered with Mobile Buro in France providing consultation and development services.
The company was formed by Ian Rathbone who previously worked at Hub Software in the UK before it ceased trading in 2009. Ian was responsible for most of the high profile connectors released by Hub for the Version 4 platform. He also pioneered their Licensing and Installation structures, development procedures, and several special projects including BDC support for Sharepoint and printing technologies.
Technology excites us and connector development has always been our passion, we enjoy doing what we do and helping businesses achieve their "less paper" and time saving initiatives through our connectors.
